Key Responsibilities

  • •Resolve production issues and maintain the qualified technical baseline for the F-16 MMC.
  • •Lead the Mechanical team by managing daily tasks and priorities.
  • •Serve as primary mechanical interface to Program Management, Chief Engineer, IPT leadership, Operations and Supply Chain, applying cost and schedule management methods.
  • •Collaborate across disciplines to ensure requirements are addressed across integration, testing, qualification, production, and sustainment.
  • •Address obsolescence and supplier-driven changes by overseeing supplier verification, evaluating nonconformances, and implementing design/cost-saving improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a STEM degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience.
  • •U.S. government issued security clearance capability is required; U.S. citizenship is required.
  • •Experience with electronic product packaging (circuit card assemblies, printed wiring boards, electronics chassis, etc.).
  • •Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) including model creation and interrogation with tools such as PTC Creo (preferred), NX, or Solidworks.
