Job Summary

Conduct functional performance tests of molded plastic closure systems in the Physical Test Lab, then summarize and report results using lab equipment and PC spreadsheet tools. Maintain a safe, clean 5S work environment, verify equipment calibration, archive completed requests, and perform peer review audits. Help develop or extend test methods, support gage R&R studies, assist with ISO/SQF quality system activities, and train new lab technicians as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain a safe, clean work environment using 5S and follow applicable safety policies and procedures.
•Coordinate lab assignments and reference the master list of equipment used and tests performed.
•Perform inspections and functional performance tests in compliance with lab test methods, including verifying equipment calibration.
•Input collected data into a PC system, summarize results with statistical calculations, and write/report findings.
•Help develop or extend test methods, assist with gage R&R studies, archive completed requests, and support audits/ISO/SQF quality system activities as assigned.
