Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and drive the overall platform logging strategy, including logging frameworks for AOSP-based systems.
  • •Establish log collection, storage, retention, and archival strategies and define structured logging standards and best practices.
  • •Build crash, ANR, native crash, and kernel panic analysis infrastructure and develop diagnostic frameworks for failure analysis and troubleshooting.
  • •Investigate production issues in customer environments, identify recurring failure patterns, and lead incident reviews, postmortems, and corrective actions.
  • •Design and implement log-based monitoring, anomaly detection, automated alerting/escalation, dashboards, and reliability metrics/KPIs; ensure secure logging and diagnostic infrastructure.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in Android native development with strong expertise in Java/Kotlin and Android Studio.
  • •Experience developing Android/AOSP system software and designing logging, diagnostics, or observability systems.
  • •Strong background in crash analysis, production debugging, and root cause investigation, including debugging Linux Kernel or low-level issues.
  • •Strong programming skills in C/C++, Java, and/or Kotlin, with experience analyzing large-scale production incidents and system failures.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
