Key Responsibilities

  • •Support overall project management administration and help establish project-specific objectives and policies.
  • •Provide technical direction to subordinate managers, enforce company and project policies, and ensure work aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
  • •Manage multiple educational facility projects across varying phases of design/construction and coordinate project activities with internal teams and school staff.
  • •Interact with superintendents to address project questions/issues and assist with/monitor change orders.
  • •Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion within budget and in conformance with contract, including document and project system updates.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6+ years of relevant experience in educational facility construction, or project coordination for commercial and/or public facilities.
  • •Must pass a state and federal criminal history/security background check.
  • •Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and the Miami Dade County fingerprint-based Criminal History Records Check.
  • •Demonstrated strong management, communications, and negotiation skills.
  • •Preferred: bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or related field; familiarity with State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF).
