Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement end-to-end Entra ID environments, including tenant architecture, dynamic groups, administrative units, and identity lifecycle management at scale.
  • •Build access control and governance capabilities such as Conditional Access (including advanced scenarios), MFA/passwordless, PIM, RBAC, access reviews, and entitlement management.
  • •Own hybrid identity design and troubleshooting, including Entra Connect/Cloud Sync and options spanning password hash sync, pass-through auth, and federation.
  • •Design and support identity federation and integration across Entra ID and other identity providers, including SSO with SAML/OIDC and provisioning via SCIM.
  • •Investigate and remediate identity risks using Entra ID Protection and sign-in/audit logs, and improve identity hygiene for hybrid environments.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 3–5+ years of hands-on, production experience in Microsoft Entra ID, plus broader IT administration, identity management, or security operations experience.
  • •Deep working knowledge of Conditional Access, MFA/passwordless, PIM, RBAC, access reviews, and entitlement management.
  • •Strong hands-on hybrid identity experience with Entra Connect/Cloud Sync, on-premises Active Directory, and the tradeoffs between hash sync, pass-through authentication, and federation.
  • •Knowledge of authentication and provisioning protocols including SAML, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, Kerberos, LDAP, and SCIM.
  • •Experience integrating or migrating identity between Entra ID and other IdPs (e.g., Okta, Ping, ADFS), and the ability to troubleshoot identity issues independently.
