Job Summary

Manage complex capital projects for the manufacturing of PET preforms and rigid containers, from conception through qualification. Partner across multiple sites to drive productivity, timing, and budget outcomes, and refine feasibility studies into actionable implementation plans. Lead technical planning for equipment, layout, and infrastructure upgrades, evaluate new machinery and vendors, and communicate resolution of technical, timing, and budget issues through weekly status reporting.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage complex capital projects for PET preforms and rigid container manufacturing across multiple sites.
•Create bills of materials for new capital projects and support the capital appropriation process.
•Ensure safety and environmental requirements are incorporated into project scope and budget.
•Refine feasibility studies with input from regional directors, plant managers, and plant resources into action implementation plans meeting cost and timing criteria.
•Review plant infrastructure, layout, and equipment needs; analyze and evaluate equipment performance and cost and publish weekly project status reports.

Travel: Extensive travel

Salary: USD 112,800 - 169,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering.
•Minimum seven years of professional engineering experience in the plastics packaging industry, including seven years of project management experience.
•Knowledge of plant layouts, infrastructure, and equipment, with proven experience managing multiple resources and complex projects.
•Ability to communicate technical information clearly and influence/manage resources that may not directly report to the senior program manager.
•Experience evaluating on-site manufacturing opportunities and managing on-site projects from concept to completion, including SPC exposure.
