Job Summary

Lead technical program management for Visa’s Digital Enablement team, partnering with product management and software engineering leaders to define, plan, and deliver advanced customer services. You translate business needs into actionable requirements, create problem statements and success criteria, manage epics and feature backlogs, and coordinate dependencies and risks. You also shape user experience inputs and drive “shift-left” improvements across automation, AI adoption, security, quality, and engineering planning performance.

•Engage with product managers and stakeholders to understand business problems, objectives, and timelines, and align solution options with strategic goals.
•Create problem statements and measurable success criteria, building shared alignment before engineering work begins.
•Translate business needs into clear requirements and high-level solution options, including data flows and system interactions.
•Lead planning and backlog management for epics and features so engineering teams can estimate and plan upcoming sprints.
•Manage dependencies and risks early, facilitate transparent stakeholder communication, and align engineering plans with business expectations.

Key Requirements

•Engineering background building software or operating technical systems, including reading architecture diagrams and understanding API contracts and data flows.

•Clear communication translating engineering complexity into business impact and vice versa.
•Experience with or interest in Visa and the payments industry.
•Depth in one or more areas such as AI/LLMs, data science, UX/UI, mobile (iOS/Android), cloud and hybrid infrastructure, Kubernetes, CI/CD and DevOps, or analytics and dashboards.
