Key Requirements

  • •Expertise in classical/modern control methods (PID, MPC, LQR, pure pursuit), vehicle dynamics, and system identification.
  • •6+ years of experience working on autonomous robots or vehicles, including tuning controllers on physical machines.
  • •Experience integrating control systems with CAN/J1939 and drive-by-wire, including specifying feedback and fail-safe behaviors.
  • •Proficiency with C++ and one or more of Python and ROS/ROS2, with experience contributing across the stack as needed.
  • •Experience with hydraulics/heavy equipment or functional safety standards (ISO 13849, ISO 3691-4) is a plus.
