Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in data-gathering activities including document review and preparing technical work product.
  • •Assist with detailed, after-the-fact evaluations of design and construction deficiencies and defects, water infiltration/intrusion, and standard of care for general contractors and design professionals.
  • •Support the testifying expert in preparation for depositions, mediations, and trial, presenting complex technical and causation findings clearly and objectively.
  • •Support forensic analysis of design and construction documentation to determine contractual liability and cause-and-effect relationships between project events and alleged defects.
  • •Support engagement work planning, proposals, budgeting, and client communications for senior-level review.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • •2 - 4 years of work experience in architecture or construction with an interest in consulting.
  • •Candidate working towards a professional architectural certification (RA, AIA, NCARB).
  • •Ability to contribute to data-gathering activities, document review, and preparation of technical work products.
  • •Willingness to be located near an Ankura office, with a preference for Philadelphia.
