•Demonstrate commitment to WGU’s mission, serve as a professional role model for students, and maintain current knowledge in the assigned content area.
•Provide expertise in the content area and implement program philosophy and goals.
•Foster student learning through innovative teaching practices and both in-person and remote clinical evaluations.
•Respond to student needs with urgency, communicate professionally with students and the WGU community, and make appropriate referrals for remediation.
•Collaborate with coaches/preceptors and other university professionals to monitor student progress, complete final reviews of clinical time, and support assigned students throughout the program.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 37.64 - 56.49 hourly

Key Requirements

•MSN degree and current, unencumbered license
•Two years of relevant professional experience
•Subject matter expert in job-relevant content or practice area
•Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
•Experience using technology-based teaching/communication platforms and both in-person and remote student evaluation
