Job Summary

In Köln, you will perform risk-oriented audits with national and international audit teams across IT, information security, cyber security, cloud, data management, IT governance, and digital/transformation projects. You support the full audit cycle from planning and risk analysis through testing and reporting, and you independently document and analyze IT risks to derive appropriate audit approaches. You also conduct audits in areas such as IT general controls, IAM, change/release management, third-party outsourcing, and operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute risk-oriented audits in IT, information security, cyber security, cloud, data management, IT governance, and digital/transformation projects with national and international audit teams.
•Support the end-to-end audit cycle, from planning and risk analysis through testing to reporting, collaborating with business areas, management, and the IT Center of Excellence.
•Plan, conduct, and document risk-oriented IT and ICT audits, analyzing IT risks to derive appropriate audit approaches.
•Conduct audits in central IT areas, including ITGC, identity & access management, change & release management, third-party/outsourcing, and operational resilience.
•Work closely with management and internal stakeholders to ensure audit findings and documentation are delivered effectively.

Key Requirements

•Successfully completed degree in computer science, business informatics, cyber security, business administration, or a comparable program.
•At least 4–6 years of professional experience in IT audit, IT risk management, cyber security, IT compliance, information security, or a comparable role (preferably in insurance or financial services).
•Strong knowledge of common control frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., DORA, NIS2, ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL).
•Experience with cloud technologies, digital platforms, and modern IT architectures is an advantage.
•Relevant certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CIA, or comparable qualifications.
