Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and analyze monthly journal entries for operational purchase, sale, and processing/gathering transactions
  • •Coordinate plant and gathering system closes and ensure timely payments to producers
  • •Analyze plant L&U (lost & unaccounted for gas) for reasonableness
  • •Reconcile and manage third-party and intercompany natural gas liquids marketing activity
  • •Prepare and analyze balance sheet reconciliations and produce internal/external reports, including regulatory reporting and audits support

Key Requirements

  • •Accounting degree with 2-4 years of accounting and financial reporting experience
  • •Knowledge of the oil and gas industry is helpful
  • •Advanced Excel skills; experience with TIPS or other gas accounting systems is a plus
  • •Strong verbal and written communication to work with management and multiple stakeholders
  • •Ability to think critically, multitask, work independently, and apply GAAP accordingly
