Job Summary

Coordinate and complete pipeline operations and maintenance tasks and projects for natural gas and products assets, including excavation support, corrosion and measurement work, and mechanical maintenance. Operate and maintain heavy excavation equipment and perform hot taps/stopples, pigging, pipe cleaning, hydrostatic testing, leak surveys, and coating inspection. May lead, train, and oversee contractors while supporting safety and DOT/OSHA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate and complete pipeline operations and maintenance tasks and projects for natural gas and products plant and pipeline systems.
•Perform excavation, mobilization, operation, and maintenance of heavy equipment to support work on in-service pipelines.
•Assist with hot tapping and stopple operations, valve maintenance, pigging, internal/external pipe cleaning, hydrostatic testing, and leak surveys.
•Inspect coating removal and surface preparation, apply coating systems (including 2-part epoxies), and calibrate/maintain a holiday detector for coating inspection.
•Lead or train others as needed, develop work plans, oversee contractors/crew activities, and support project scope and supervision in compliance with safety and company policies.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•5+ years of experience in pipeline construction, maintenance, and repair, including operating and maintaining heavy excavation equipment (e.g., hydrovac truck, backhoe, excavator, side boom, dozer, maintainer).
•Must be able to read and interpret engineering construction blueprints for pipeline and compressor station projects.
•Must possess and maintain a valid CDL driver license (or obtain within 6 months of hire).
•Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and DOT pipeline regulations, plus strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot and maintain natural gas and products plant equipment.
