Job Summary

Lead the embedded software platform team by designing and deploying CI/CD build/test/release pipelines for embedded system products. Develop firmware and platform capabilities that help application teams implement behaviors for AI-enabled edge devices, including kernel/board bring-up and a unified hardware abstraction layer. Manage complex module life cycles end to end (design through maintenance and result tracking), drive test automation efficiency, and act as an SME who guides and mentors engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and deploy software build/test/release pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of embedded system products.
•Develop firmware and embedded software platforms to enable behaviors/application engineers to implement features on AI-enabled products and support mass production.
•Manage end-to-end life cycles for complex modules and systems, including image build/test/release, hardware abstraction layer discussions, documentation, coding, testing, maintenance, and result tracking.
•Improve product performance and test automation efficiency, with strong product sense and focus on verification.
•Serve as a subject matter expert (SME), disseminating knowledge, guiding and mentoring engineers, and proactively identifying and influencing resolution of technical risks.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of embedded system development experience, including board bring up and embedded Linux kernel/driver porting for system integration.
•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Robotics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering Applied Mathematics, Robotics Engineering or similar.
•Proven experience setting up continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
•Hands-on experience with Linux toolchains, Yocto build system, and version control with git; strong configuration skills.
•Strong C++ object-oriented programming skills and the ability to write high-performance, high-quality product code; familiarity with STL, boost C++ libraries, and design patterns.
