Job Summary

Translate hard cheese packaging application needs into robust, value-adding flexible packaging solutions for customers across EMEA. Serve as a technical expert for product selection, application optimization, and commercialization, while partnering with R&D and Product Management on enhancements, new developments, qualifications, trials, and scale-ups. Evaluate packaging performance and shelf-life, capture customer and market insights, and build application capabilities through cross-functional collaboration with sales and field teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as a technical expert for hard cheese packaging applications for customers’ manufacturing operations across EMEA.
•Support customers with product selection, application optimization, and effective product commercialization.
•Collaborate with R&D and Product Management on product enhancements and new developments.
•Lead and support product qualifications, trials, and scale-ups at customer sites.
•Conduct packaging line, shelf-life, and performance evaluations to demonstrate quantifiable customer value and capture insights for innovation opportunities.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•10+ years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, or similar roles within flexible packaging for the hard cheese segment.
•Strong understanding of packaging materials and customer manufacturing processes, with the ability to translate needs into practical scalable solutions.
•Proven project management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills for complex, cross-functional work.
•Experience leading or supporting product qualifications, trials, and scale-ups at customer sites.
•Willingness to travel more than 50% and work independently in an international environment.
