Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver plant and piping CAD/BIM outputs for water and wastewater projects in line with WSP and client standards.
  • •Prepare 2D/3D design deliverables (GA drawings, piping layouts, isometrics, plot plans, sections, PFDs, P&IDs, and construction-ready drawings) using AutoCAD and Plant 3D.
  • •Develop and maintain federated BIM models in Autodesk Vault, including clash detection, coordination, issue resolution, reporting, and data management.
  • •Create BOMs, quantity take-offs, schedules, and equipment lists according to project and client requirements.
  • •Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and support cross-regional delivery; mentor junior/intermediate CAD staff and champion QA/QC compliance.

Key Requirements

  • •12–18 years of proven experience in water supply and wastewater utility projects, including potable water supply mains, pumping stations, and related systems.
  • •Advanced proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD (2D) and Plant 3D, with hands-on BIM coordination, clash detection, and federated model management.
  • •Experience interpreting engineering inputs/specifications and producing BOMs, quantity take-offs, and schedules.
  • •Ability to deliver GA drawings, piping layouts, isometrics, PFDs, P&IDs, plot plans, sections, and construction-ready drawings.
  • •Minimum bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering (B.Tech or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline).
