Job Summary

Maintain and clean operational areas of the feed mill, including grounds upkeep and landscaping, while loading and receiving ingredients as needed. Support safe operations by cleaning feed spills, using equipment such as blow guns, high-pressure hoses, and PIT to move pallets, and following Tyson health and safety and biosecurity guidelines. Work Monday–Friday on 1st shift with required holiday/weekend coverage and complete assigned tasks from management.

Key Responsibilities

•Sweep and clean assigned mill areas and maintain service areas through good housekeeping.
•Assist with ingredients unloading and loading activities for rail cars/trucks and clean up feed spills.
•Perform grounds keeping and landscaping duties using equipment such as mowers and trimmers.
•Use and maintain cleaning equipment (blow guns, high-pressure water hoses) and perform tasks using PIT to move pallets.
•Follow Tyson health and safety protocols and biosecurity guidelines, wear required PPE, and complete tasks assigned by management.

Key Requirements

•6 months operator experience with one employer in the previous 12 months (1 year feed mill experience preferred).
•HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
•MS valid class D license (as applicable) with no more than 2 moving violations.
•Ability to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, including lifting up to 60 lbs and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
•Basic computer skills in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Teams.
