Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on MOT design/engineering for highway improvement projects as part of alternative delivery efforts.
  • •Create MOT design deliverables including cross sections, typical cross sections, and traffic control plans.
  • •Develop profiles, temporary signing, and temporary pavement marking packages.
  • •Design detour routes and other traffic control components for maintaining safe traffic flow.
  • •Coordinate with project teams to produce MOT design packages using Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads.

Key Requirements

  • •For MOT CAD Designers: BS degree or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
  • •Junior Level Engineers: BS in Engineering plus 2 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Mid-Level Engineers: BS in Engineering plus 6 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Senior Level Engineers / Task Leads: BS in Engineering plus 10 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Preferred: EIT certification or PE license, and/or a master’s degree in engineering.
