Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and support settlement negotiations in complex product liability, mass tort, toxic tort, and consumer product litigation matters.
  • •Develop settlement structures and eligibility criteria for claimants.
  • •Serve as primary legal and operations lead to ensure settlements are executed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with legal requirements.
  • •Negotiate, draft, review, and finalize settlement-related documents and resolve claimant disputes or appeals with plaintiffs’ counsel.
  • •Manage teams to review and assess incoming claims and oversee settlement implementation and claims administration, including workflow and quality assurance.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 350,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • •Active and in good standing with the local state Bar, or eligible to waive in.
  • •Minimum of 8 years of substantive legal experience, including at least three years of litigation practice, focused on mass torts in drug, medical device, and/or consumer products.
  • •Claims resolution experience, preferably involving pharmaceutical products, medical devices, or consumer health/consumer-facing products.
  • •Ability to draft, review, and negotiate settlement documents and understand contracting principles; detail-oriented with capacity to manage multiple teams and work streams.
