Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee and coordinate all construction activities to ensure timely delivery, budget adherence, and required quality standards.
  • •Manage cost controls, cost planning, commercial management, value engineering, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Establish and maintain line-item costs for preliminaries and consumables, and monitor variations to support claims/dispute avoidance.
  • •Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes, support HSE initiatives, and participate in safety awareness and incident reporting/resolution.
  • •Manage tendering processes and relevant HR processes (mobilization and demobilization), while building high-performing teams and allocating assets and liabilities including project insurance requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of working experience, including 5 years of relevant construction experience.
  • •Extensive knowledge of civil construction practices, processes, and protocols.
  • •Strong expertise in construction industry budgeting, cost accounting, contracts administration, and risk management.
  • •Thorough understanding of Quality, OH and S (HSE) and Environmental Management Systems.
  • •ERP knowledge (preferably SAP) is required; professional degree in a related field with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
