Job Summary

Design and lead Mastercard’s Agribusiness strategy across North and South LAC, with priority focus on Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, and selected Central American markets. Drive product development for the agribusiness ecosystem using digital payments, platforms, and data-driven solutions. Build stakeholder relationships across the value chain, remove barriers to acceptance, develop strategic partnerships, and align execution with internal teams across LAC.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop a deep understanding of agribusiness value chains and economics to drive stakeholder value across markets.
•Lead the development and execution of Mastercard’s Agribusiness strategy across North and South LAC.
•Design and deliver competitive products for the agribusiness ecosystem using digital payments, platforms, and data-driven solutions.
•Build and maintain relationships with ecosystem stakeholders, including cooperatives, producers, suppliers, buyers, processors/enablers, and financial institutions.
•Identify and remove barriers to card acceptance by working with acquirers and partners; develop partnerships and strategic alliances to scale adoption.
•Stay abreast of regional market trends, regulatory dynamics, and technological innovations relevant to agribusiness and commercial payments.
•Collaborate with internal teams (Products, Sales, Pricing, Finance, Customer Delivery) to ensure alignment and execution across LAC.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in agribusiness or commercial payments within financial services, with exposure to agricultural value chains and supply chain dynamics.
•Strong knowledge of the agribusiness ecosystem, including commercial, operational, financial, and seasonal characteristics.
•Experience designing and executing go-to-market strategies for complex/specialized segments, including product and partnership development.
•Proven stakeholder management skills to influence and engage clients and partners across the value chain and multiple markets.
•Bachelor’s degree (business, economics, engineering, agronomy, or related fields); advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a plus.
•Communicate effectively in English and Spanish.
•Availability to be in the office 3 times per week.
