Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and own the analytical model connecting unit economics, agent run cost, willingness-to-pay, gross margin, and customer value.
  • •Maintain competitive and market intelligence and run pricing experiments, turning results into documented, reusable learnings.
  • •Design pricing and packaging architecture across community, self-serve, Enterprise tiers, and add-ons; create frameworks and decision tools product teams use to launch new SKUs.
  • •Lead cross-functional pricing decision-making and secure buy-in across Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, RevOps, and Data.
  • •Own end-to-end rollout of major pricing changes, including pricing frameworks (list pricing, discount guardrails, decision rubrics, grandfathering, and usage-based billing decisions).

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years leading pricing, monetization, or commercial strategy, including at least one full cycle major pricing transition (e.g., subscription to consumption or seat-based to usage-based).
  • •Hands-on experience designing and rolling out modern pricing models (consumption-based, outcome-based, or AI-native) at a company past $100M ARR.
  • •Owned pricing across both self-serve/PLG and Enterprise/sales-led motions, including tier design, funnel experimentation, packaging for large accounts, and discount governance.
  • •Deep analytical ability to build pricing/financial models for unit economics, cost-to-serve, gross margin, willingness-to-pay, and elasticity.
  • •Billing fluency to design pricing that is operable, including event metering, rating/entitlements, proration/overage, and revenue recognition; partnering with Billing on invoicing and disputes.
