Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the installation, configuration, preventive and corrective maintenance of the complete infrastructure (Datacenter, Windows/Linux servers, Juniper networks, virtualization via VMware/vCenter, telephony, video surveillance, and access control) to ensure operational continuity and technological evolution at the Santa Fe penitentiary facility
  • •Monitor system performance with platforms like Zabbix or Nagios, diagnose and resolve complex faults, and coordinate incident escalation with vendors or second-tier support
  • •Coordinate with sales for RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, producing preliminary designs, coverage analyses, traffic sizing, frequency planning, link budgets, solution architecture (FDD), and BOMs
  • •Develop final project design documentation and conduct on-site coverage analyses, address interference issues, and provide field support to technicians
  • •Directly supervise external service providers and document procedures to ensure strict cybersecurity compliance

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor-level engineering degree (Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Electronics)
  • •4+ years experience in telecommunications/IT projects lifecycle (pre-sale and post-sale)
  • •Strong experience administering Windows and Linux, VMware/vCenter; familiarity with network protocols (VPN, SIP, SNMP) and security devices (firewalls, routers, switches)
  • •Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix or Nagios
  • •Fluency in Spanish and English; willingness for 100% on-site work in Santa Fe and travel as required
