Key Responsibilities

  • •Build and grow the team: own end-to-end hiring, develop engineers through coaching and feedback, and address performance directly and fairly.
  • •Own delivery: translate ambiguous business outcomes into a roadmap, manage dependencies and risk, and keep commitments visible with stakeholders.
  • •Provide technical leadership: guide design and evolution of business-critical systems, lead design reviews, and step in on highest-leverage calls.
  • •Partner cross-functionally with Product and Design and other Engineering leaders to influence roadmap trade-offs and deliver scalable solutions.
  • •Set standards and operational health: define engineering standards (testing, CI/CD, observability, readiness), ensure security/compliance, and drive humane on-call and resilience improvements.
