Job Summary

Perform scheduled inspections, maintenance, and unscheduled rectification for PC9 flight line and intermediate maintenance operations, ensuring operationally capable aircraft for KFAA pilot training. Troubleshoot faults, carry out removals/installs/repairs, evaluate aircraft systems/components, and provide technical specialty support. Maintain Production Inspections signatory capability through trade certification and cross-utilisation training, plus deliver On-the-Job Training and adhere to RSAF safety and foreign object requirements.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out aircraft maintenance tasks to provide operationally capable aircraft for KFAA pilot training programmes, including servicing, fault troubleshooting/rectification, and inspections/evaluations of systems/components.
•Provide technical specialty support by evaluating and interpreting maintenance faults and corrective actions, and assessing performance and operational status of specialty aircraft systems/components.
•Achieve and maintain Production Inspections signatory capability for authorised trade certifications, including obtaining/maintaining certifications to support speciality and aircraft maintenance functions.
•Operate PC9 flight line and intermediate maintenance activities and associated support and test equipment, including troubleshooting, inspections, removals/installs, and repairs.
•Deliver On-the-Job Training (OJT) and ensure compliance with RSAF Safety and Foreign Object Programme, while developing user expertise in AUTO LOG and MIRO Gold tracking systems.

Key Requirements

•National civilian/military equivalent aircraft maintenance traineeship/apprenticeship with relevant type and equipment-specific training (e.g., ‘Q’ Course) if required.
•Extensive post-qualification practical maintenance experience in an operational flying aircraft environment (or equivalent experience on the same aircraft type / completion of the BAESSA apprenticeship programme).
•Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance and engineering.
•Apply human factors, error management, health & safety, and proactive hazard analysis appropriate to the role.
•Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite) and strong two-way oral and written communication, able to work independently to resolve complex technical issues.
