Key Responsibilities

•Perform task-lead civil engineering work on transportation projects for clients across the Pacific Mountain West District.
•Provide guidance and leadership to junior team members and help deliver technically sound engineering solutions with a focus on quality.
•Support project managers with scope, schedule, budget, changes and risk, and plans/specifications/estimates and/or bid packages.
•Maintain QA/QC to ensure cost, schedule, and quality objectives are met for engineering activities and align with standards and client requirements.
•Coordinate with other design disciplines and support transportation business development efforts and client engagement/pursuits across the district.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or closely related) from an accredited program.
•5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering with prior civil design experience.
•Engineer in Training (EIT) certification; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred.
•Demonstrated experience working with public agencies and applying civil engineering principles to permitting and project work.
•Proficiency with technical writing and tools including Microsoft Office, Revu, document control software, and civil design software (Civil 3D; also MicroStation/OpenRoads).
