Job Summary

Build and scale the backend infrastructure powering AI agents for enterprise finance teams. You’ll develop core APIs and business logic, own integrations with ERPs, banks, CRMs, HRIS, payroll, and billing systems, and create reliable ETL pipelines that move data into the database. Partner with the AI team to optimize performance for high-volume, trustworthy queries. Work in person 5 days/week in Concourse’s Flatiron NYC HQ.

Key Responsibilities

•Build and maintain backend features, APIs, and business logic powering AI agents and user-facing applications
•Own integrations with ERPs, banks, CRMs, HRIS, payroll, billing systems, and other finance data sources
•Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure reliable data flow into the database
•Optimize backend systems for scale and reliability for high-volume AI queries
•Own large areas of backend product components with autonomy and an ownership mindset

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120 - 200 annually

Key Requirements

•2+ years of backend engineering experience delivering production systems and features
•Strong experience building REST APIs, working with databases, and developing backend services (TypeScript/Node.js preferred)
•Comfortable building integrations and connecting disparate systems quickly
•Strong understanding of data modeling, schema design, and moving data across siloed systems
•Experience with financial systems (ERPs, billing, payroll) or fintech products, plus data warehouse/ETL tooling experience (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Fivetran, Airbyte)
