Key Responsibilities

  • •Build security into the AI platform by running threat modeling sessions, designing secure architectures, and ensuring security shapes product decisions from day one.
  • •Own and evolve the application security program, including establishing SAST/DAST scanning in CI/CD, conducting security code reviews, and building vulnerability-detection automation.
  • •Partner with engineering to champion secure coding standards, creating reusable security patterns and libraries for developers.
  • •Design and recommend security features to protect customer environments and integrate AI agents to help proactively minimize risk.
  • •Lead security assessments and penetration testing of applications, AI services, and APIs, and implement security controls for data pipelines, model training environments, and customer-facing AI agents.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of hands-on application security engineering, with experience securing large-scale production systems.
  • •Strong understanding of developer experience and workflows, balancing risk reduction with shipping velocity.
  • •Technical expertise in at least two programming languages (Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript) and the ability to review code across languages.
  • •Knowledge of security tools and methodologies including SAST/DAST, vulnerability management platforms, security testing frameworks, and DevSecOps practices.
  • •Excellent communication skills for translating complex security concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
