Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect and verify construction materials delivered to site to ensure compliance with approved material submittals, contract requirements, and local standards.
  • •Check material source approvals, delivery notes, batch certificates, and test reports prior to acceptance and use at site.
  • •Carry out sampling and witnessing of laboratory and field tests for soil, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other civil materials as per approved ITPs.
  • •Maintain accurate inspection records, test results, and material logs for QA/QC and as-built documentation; identify non-conforming materials and raise NCRs.
  • •Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, coordinate testing schedules and approvals with engineering, and report daily inspection and testing status to engineering.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 7 years of experience in material inspection within construction or civil engineering projects.
  • •Proven experience witnessing and coordinating material testing and certifications.
  • •Experience verifying supplier and manufacturer compliance with project requirements.
  • •Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams and site personnel.
  • •You must currently be based in the UAE.
