Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end mechanical design of modules and systems, from ideation through prototyping, NPI, documentation, and production.
  • •Design parts and assemblies using 3D CAD and 2D drawings, including 3D printed prototyping.
  • •Manage and oversee ODMs/external partners to drive quality and durability improvements for new and sustaining products.
  • •Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop, mock up, and test prototypes for new product concepts.
  • •Manage DFM, NPI builds, and DOEs; work with quality to resolve factory and customer issues; experiment with new technologies and suppliers.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of mechanical engineering experience for complex electronics products.
  • •Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • •Drive mechanical product development from initial concept through production.
  • •Strong mechanical design skills in CAD, including tolerance analysis and FMEA/simulation.
  • •Experience with mass production processes such as injection molding, die casting, forming, extrusion, and high-volume CNC.
