Key Responsibilities

  • •Answer and screen phone calls, receive and greet visitors, and coordinate data calls.
  • •Schedule appointments/meetings and support meetings on and off the NSWCDD location.
  • •Receive, review, type, edit, and process correspondence and documents; handle sorting, routing, tracking, copying, scanning, faxing, filing, and archiving.
  • •Maintain office filing, calendars, inventory, and office supplies; establish and maintain SOPs for clerical/secretarial duties.
  • •Process timecards, training requests, shipping documents, and handle related requests using Navy ERP and government systems; provide support to visually impaired/disabled personnel as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Active Interim Secret clearance (prefer a full Secret clearance).
  • •4+ years of experience creating and maintaining documentation and data management systems.
  • •2+ years supporting Federal Government programs with mid-executive/general administrative support (O-6/GS-15 level or below).
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access) and Adobe.
  • •Ability to type 60 words per minute and work independently with strong oral and written communication.
