Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Foreperson with daily production duties by operating heavy equipment and performing plant-related labor tasks at various locations with the portable plant.
  • •Detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions and respond accordingly while maintaining safe, efficient equipment operation.
  • •Assist with miscellaneous duties including general labor, shoveling, equipment maintenance, and support for foreperson/crew as requested.
  • •Support daily plant operations and upkeep, including cleaning up around the plant, equipment, and surrounding area.
  • •Perform general maintenance on equipment and maintain strict adherence to safety requirements and company policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including Haul Truck, Water Truck, Dump Truck, Dredge, Track Hoe, Frontend Loader, and Skid Steer Loader.
  • •Willingness to work nights and weekends, travel and work away from home when required, and report to the job site ready to start at the designated time.
  • •Less than or equal to a high school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training (or equivalent).
  • •Ability to detect safety hazards and equipment malfunctions, follow directions, and demonstrate strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures.
  • •Basic ability to read and interpret safety/operating documents and perform basic mathematical and reasoning tasks.
