Job Summary

Support the sales organization in Fortinet’s GSI vertical by delivering technical pre-sales and selected post-sales assistance. Own domain expertise and demonstrate Fortinet’s security portfolio, create and influence opportunities, and guide customers through demos, RfX responses, PoCs, and integrations. Serve as trusted advisor for GSI accounts, collaborate with partners and internal teams, and support sales/channel enablement and events.

Key Responsibilities

•Demonstrate and articulate the technical and business value of the Fortinet portfolio to support sales.
•Act as SME and primary technical contact for assigned GSI domains; manage use cases, competitive intelligence, and differentiation.
•Create and influence sales opportunities by solving customer problems, qualifying leads, and identifying upsell/cross-sell potential.
•Lead technical sales engagements (queries, demos, RfX, PoCs, integration enablement) with architecture and implementation design guidance.
•Maintain trusted technical relationships with GSI accounts and collaborate with internal teams and partners to capture requirements and support enablement activities.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•3+ years of pre-sales support experience for GSIs with proven success.
•Deep knowledge of GSI service/solution delivery and Fortinet’s FortiOS-based core technologies.
•Expert knowledge of networking and network security (e.g., next-gen firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption protocols).
•Strong communication and customer focus to address complex technical and business requirements.
•Willingness to travel 20–50% and familiarity with domains such as datacenter architectures, zero trust/SASE/SD-WAN, DevOps/IaC, cloud architectures, security operations, and scripting (Ansible, Terraform, Python).
