Job Summary

Participate in a 4–8 week onboarding program with rotations across operations and Sales & Service, culminating in certification to become a Retail Personal Banker I. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessments to build customer profiles, cross-sell retail consumer and small business products, and set periodic financial review appointments using approved marketing tools. Process teller transactions and collaborate with business partners by referring customers for holistic solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build a customer profile and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and other approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities such as onsite presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Work with assigned business partners and refer customers to provide timely, holistic financial solutions; also process teller transactions as part of the platform staff.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to comfortably perform sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Must be able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
