Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure show sets remain in good condition according to original design.
  • •Mix and match colors for touch-ups, repairs, and visual impact maintenance.
  • •Identify and communicate defects and contribute ideas to resolve them.
  • •Conduct regular reviews of the preventative maintenance program and ensure departmental policies and performance standards are followed.
  • •Support daily operations alongside colleagues, maintain checklists/records accuracy, and share trends and observations with the manager.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or College Graduate with 2 or more years' experience in scenic painting, automotive spraying, air brush, or related techniques.
  • •Experience in both sculpting and painting (desirable) and/or mural painting, scenic faux painting, or air brushing.
  • •Understands color theory and color match by eye.
  • •Basic carpentry knowledge and practical knowledge of fiberglass layup/finishing, molding, cement mixing/carving/texturing (as applicable).
  • •Clear understanding of written and spoken English, with a positive attitude to follow instructions and ask questions when needed.
