Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide expert corrosion engineering advice and solutions to avoid and manage corrosion-related problems in new projects or modifications.
  • •Develop, review, and specify cathodic protection systems for new projects or modifications to facilities.
  • •Act as a technical authority for corrosion and materials work, advising on design processes and construction methods and selecting technically and financially optimal solutions.
  • •Manage and supervise technical specialists/engineers, including technical guidance, progress supervision, coaching and mentoring, and performance management.
  • •Oversee and execute project scope, budget, and schedule; conduct design reviews and participate in incident investigations as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors (minimum) or Masters (desirable) degree in an engineering discipline.
  • •Chartership or relevant professional engineer status accredited by a national/industry engineering institution (preferred).
  • •Demonstrable CPD record with examples of technical and consulting development.
  • •For cathodic protection roles: qualifications comparable to NACE CP specialist or ISO 15257-2017, Level 4 and 5 (desirable).
  • •Typically 10+ years of progressively responsible pertinent experience, including the ability to supervise, manage, motivate, and mentor technical professionals.
