Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform first-pass analysis of MBES, SSS, magnetometer, and/or sub-bottom profiler data using commercial software.
  • •Provide rapid, iterative feedback to improve data quality and identify artifacts and anomalies.
  • •Create data products and client write-ups and act as the primary point of contact for data quality and deliverables.
  • •Teach clients how to interpret AUV data, clearly explaining trade-offs, limitations, and uncertainty.
  • •Contribute to defining uncertainty and accuracy in ocean data and collaborate with product and engineering to scale processing workflows.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 95,000 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Experience processing and reporting on at least two of: MBES, SSS, magnetometer, or sub-bottom profiler using commercial software.
  • •Comfort with ArcGIS, QGIS, and/or AutoCAD.
  • •Experience writing data reports for commercial clients.
  • •Attention to detail with the ability to spot artifacts and anomalies and reason about their causes.
  • •Interest in interfacing directly with customers on data quality, interpretation, and deliverables.
