Key Responsibilities

•Deliver engineering solutions for highway projects or work packages across varying scale and complexity, potentially across multiple projects simultaneously.
•Ensure projects are delivered within budget, programme, technical standards and legal requirements.
•Liaise with clients, stakeholders and internal disciplines to build trusted relationships and manage expectations.
•Lead and coordinate resources during delivery of projects or work packages and mentor junior staff toward professional qualifications.
•Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental legislation and in-house quality assurance standards/processes.

Key Requirements

•A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or suitable equivalent.
•Hold IEng or be working towards CEng with demonstrable progress.
•Wide-ranging knowledge and experience of highway design at various stages of the project life cycle, including areas such as highway geometry, active travel, public transport, drainage, road restraint systems, pavements, and utilities.
•Experience using relevant software for transport design such as Autodesk Civils 3D, Bentley OpenRoads Designer, InfoDrainage, Causeway and/or PDS.
•Knowledge of CDM regulations and the ability to manage project and commercial risks in collaboration with project leads.
