Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage a team of technicians overseeing manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, and repair.
  • •Ensure safety, quality, scheduling, and resolution of operational, safety, and security issues among staff and stakeholders.
  • •Oversee work flow through factories and streamline processes across groups and divisions to meet production schedules within quality and cost objectives.
  • •Manage shift schedules, workstation/shift rotations, staffing, PTO/overtime assignments, training, and backup coverage for absent employees.
  • •Develop tactical and long-term plans for manufacturing operations capabilities and partner with engineering to resolve issues impacting factory operations/health.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Chemical, Materials Science, or related) OR a Master’s degree (MBA or relevant technical field).
  • •2 to 6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • •Demonstrated leadership and technical expertise in equipment reliability, problem-solving, team development, and operational performance.
  • •Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage stress.
  • •Willingness and ability to work onsite in Penang and support required shift work.
