Job Summary

Serve as the technical focal point for launch-site supplier quality and manufacturing for flight and non-flight parts tied to Dragon and Falcon programs. Lead containment, root-cause problem solving, and supplier interventions to protect build and launch schedules. Drive DFM, NPI, and PPAP programs to stabilize supply, reduce inspection oversight, and improve reliability—partnering with procurement, engineering, and suppliers across the supply base.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the technical point of contact for assigned parts/systems, solving supplier emergent challenges and mitigating manufacturing and quality risk.
•Lead containment activities and drive reliability improvements to protect build and launch schedules.
•Drive supplier resolution for critical path components to prevent disruption to the build schedule.
•Review issues, solve to root cause, implement changes, and drive actions to closure including re-sourcing when appropriate.
•Own supplier-related issue tickets and processes for re-work/repair/use-as-is disposition, partnering with engineering counterparts as needed.

Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
•3+ years of experience with manufacturing and/or inspection of mechanical products in a production environment.
•Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral.
•Must be able to travel up to 60-85% of the work week, including international travel.
•Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to meet major milestones.
