Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete daily work assignments from customer or supervisor and maintain accurate personal tool inventory per calibration and tool replacement protocols.
  • •Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic system issues via phone or onsite while maintaining quality standards.
  • •Support warranty activities by evaluating and validating claims, coordinating with product teams, and submitting service reports to support claims.
  • •Provide daily service reports and other relevant updates to the customer and Service Manager via email and telephone; manage simultaneous projects and deadlines.
  • •At higher levels, develop customized solutions, rebuild components to OEM specifications in a service shop, and serve as a subject matter expert for other service technicians.

Key Requirements

  • •Basic computer skills and familiarity with Epiroc equipment; strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read basic hydraulic and 24-volt schematics.
  • •Maintain and expand required personal hand tools/vehicle tool inventory using the required tool list.
  • •Complete TL1 and TL2 training and Safe Start Modules 1–5 within the first year (as specified by level).
  • •Maintain required MSHA training certificates (or agree to complete by required date) and keep a valid driver’s license; travel is required.
  • •For Level 2/3, have a Technical or Trade School Certificate of Completion or equivalent years of relevant experience (2–5 years for Level 2; 5+ years for Level 3).
