Job Summary

Independently execute molecular biology work on Natera’s Oncology RUO Histopathology team, processing laboratory specimens and running Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) workflows. Perform plasma isolation, tissue dissections, DNA extraction, library preparation, and sequencing on iSeq, MiSeq i100, NovaSeq6000, and NovaSeqX. Maintain specimen tracking in LIMS, keep precise lab records, follow EHS/GLP, and refine SOPs with guidance from senior scientists in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Process laboratory specimens using standard methods while preventing cross-contamination.
•Isolate plasma from whole blood and perform tissue dissections for Fresh and FFPE samples.
•Perform DNA extraction and purification from whole blood, plasma, and tissue samples.
•Execute library preparation and DNA sequencing using iSeq, MiSeq i100, NovaSeq6000, and NovaSeqX.
•Maintain sample tracking in LIMS and keep accurate laboratory records while following EHS/GLP and handling PHI as required.

•Proficiency with LIMS and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills and database querying desired).
