Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in preparing Development, Company, and FAA Certification ground and flight test plans.
  • •Prepare test cards and support production of Company/Certification reports.
  • •Interface with engineers, maintainers, technicians, and program management to accomplish test objectives safely and efficiently.
  • •Support test events as a flight test engineer/test conductor in the aircraft and control room, including participation in briefs/debriefs and flight line setup.
  • •Participate in Flight Test Safety Risk Management, prepare test operating limitations and advisories, and report test results to Flight Test and Engineering teams.
Travel: Medium travel

Salary: USD 96,300 - 120,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or higher in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
  • •Willing to travel 25% of the time within 100 miles of the SF Bay Area.
  • •Collaborative attitude and meticulous attention to detail.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Matlab and Python; able to obtain and maintain a FAA Class 3 medical certificate.
