  • •Own procurement goals and metrics such as productivity, risk mitigation, supplier quality, on-time delivery, and gap closure.
  • •Manage multiple procurement projects with cross-functional teams, applying standard work for implementation plans.
  • •Align commodity strategies with business unit, engineering platforms, and product management plans, and coordinate plant/business unit strategies with commodity teams.
  • •Evaluate business needs against supplier capabilities to select preferred suppliers and manage supplier relationships and contracts.
  • •Forecast and report procurement financial metrics (productivity and inflation) and support annual operating plan development for productivity initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or engineering (preferred) and 5+ years of experience in procurement, engineering, project management, quality, finance, and/or operations within an industrial company.
  • •Strong understanding of procurement processes at an operational and leadership level.
  • •Ability to think independently, manage ambiguity, multitask, and proactively plan while resolving issues with little guidance.
  • •Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong influencing and negotiating abilities.
  • •Experience with international sourcing and/or large cross-functional procurement projects, plus knowledge of supplier development, materials management, and/or supplier quality (a plus).
