Key Responsibilities

  • •Build deep trusting relationships with decision makers and executives on our most strategic accounts and establish a global network within Adyen across cultures and time zones.
  • •Drive commercial negotiations with customers to win new business and close complex deals, while meeting strategic and financial targets for assigned accounts.
  • •Act as the human dimension of Adyen’s product by delivering payments expertise and guidance, using data to tell compelling stories and position yourself as a trusted partner.
  • •Be a senior presence on the team, providing leadership and mentorship to others.
  • •Be proactive and prioritize across multiple projects and teams to ensure thorough execution on cross-regional projects involving internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 10 years of experience in a client-facing, commercial role—such as account management, consulting, or working in the payments industry from a merchant perspective—with a strong background in complex enterprise software, technical infrastructure, or financial services
  • •Full professional written and verbal proficiency in English
  • •Some domestic and international travel required
  • •Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with a track record of driving complex deals
  • •Experience in enterprise software/payments/financial services and cross-functional collaboration across regions
