Job Summary

Deliver a great customer experience by performing thorough financial needs assessments and recommending appropriate deposit and loan products to meet customers’ immediate and future needs. Under direct supervision, generate leads, build new and maintain existing customer relationships through in-person and phone interactions, and support branch operations by opening accounts, processing loan applications, and resolving customer requests while adhering to regulatory, operational, and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Conduct financial needs assessments and recommend appropriate products and services to fulfill customers’ immediate and future needs.
•Generate leads and build new and maintain existing customer relationships through service-window support, needs assessment, and sales (including outbound calling).
•Open personal and business accounts and prepare related documentation, and input and close personal and small business loan applications (including various loan types).
•Process branch transactions and related reporting (e.g., non-post reports, wire transfers, credit card orders, address changes, check/deposit slip orders).
•Assist customers with requests, complaints, and research; support security procedures and adhere to operational, regulatory, compliance, and internal audit requirements.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•More than 5 years of banking experience, or previous teller or customer contact/sales experience (equivalent).
•Intermediate knowledge of bank operations, products and services, and related state and federal laws and regulations.
•Intermediate computer skills including personal computer operation (mainframe exposure) and word processing/spreadsheet/specialty software.
•Excellent organizational and time management skills, with exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication. A valid driver’s license is required.
