Job Summary

Own HVAC design management for data center projects end-to-end, from site selection and scheme design through bidding, construction delivery, and testing/handover. Coordinate HVAC technical issues during implementation, including document preparation, drawing reviews, retrofits, and engineering negotiations. Build and iterate HVAC design standards, support technical evaluations and commissioning, and collaborate across disciplines to optimize system architecture and ensure reliable, energy-efficient infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate and manage HVAC technical work across all project phases, including site selection, scheme/design, bidding/tendering, construction delivery, and testing/handover.
•Coordinate HVAC technical issues during implementation by preparing design briefs/specifications, running drawing review checklists, and supporting energy assessment and planning approval.
•Perform technical evaluation and scheme/construction drawing design for new and retrofit projects, optimizing system architecture with the cost team.
•Support construction through design change reviews, engineering negotiations, equipment factory acceptance testing, and stage-by-stage engineering acceptances.
•Build and iterate HVAC design standards and provide technical guidance during project testing and commissioning, including technical reviews with operations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree or above in Thermal Engineering, Power Engineering, Refrigeration, Building Environment, or related fields.
•Fluency in both English and Mandarin to collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
•5+ years of experience in Data Center MEP with an internet company or colocation company.
•Have participated in and led HVAC system design for more than 5 large data center projects.
•Familiarity with relevant design codes, technical requirements, and local codes for data center HVAC.
