Key Responsibilities

  • •Take ownership of SAP’s internal security community, including members, cadence, formats, and channels to keep it active, welcoming, and valuable.
  • •Analyze current community state and establish a measurable baseline of community health (participation, contribution, engagement, retention).
  • •Sustain and nurture the community by maintaining identity, relationships, and activity rhythm, serving as a reliable point of contact.
  • •Design and run community activities to foster engagement and knowledge exchange (e.g., meetups, brown-bag sessions, community events, ambassador/champion initiatives).
  • •Maintain clear documentation of the community’s operating model, relationships, and initiatives to ensure continuity and smooth handover at assignment end.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Communications, Business, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Informatics), or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Proven experience in community management, engagement, or comparable roles building and sustaining active professional or technical communities.
  • •Sufficient security literacy to engage credibly with security professionals and engineers (security background is a plus, but it is not a hands-on engineering role).
  • •Strong facilitation, communication, and relationship-building skills to connect people and motivate voluntary participation.
  • •Experience planning and running events/programs and measuring impact using meaningful metrics.
  • •Analytical mindset to assess community health objectively and turn findings into practical, prioritized action.
