Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct environmental field and technical work for landfill monitoring, hydrogeologic studies, environmental site assessments, and geotechnical investigations.
  • •Collect groundwater and surface water samples and perform field testing (pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, surface water flow, and landfill gas measurements).
  • •Support drilling and monitoring well installation, including soil and rock descriptions, drilling records, slug testing, well yield testing, and construction inspection/quality assurance.
  • •Plan and coordinate field programs and water monitoring activities using environmental monitoring techniques.
  • •Manage environmental data and coordinate project deliverables, including maps, borehole and well logs, and summary analytical tables.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 54,800 - 75,400 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Environmental Technician/Technology diploma (or equivalent) in a related discipline.
  • •0 to 2 years of environmental consulting experience.
  • •Groundwater and soil sampling experience, including exposure to drilling and monitoring well installation oversight (asset).
  • •Experience managing data and performing analytical or statistical analysis using Microsoft Excel and database queries.
  • •Valid Class “G” Driver’s Licence and comfort completing outdoor fieldwork year-round in varying weather conditions.
