Key Responsibilities

  • •Physically deploy, mount, wire, and integrate automation equipment, Atlas Copco torque tools, tool stands, and tooling hardware across production lines.
  • •Program and configure Atlas Copco Power Focus and MicroTorque systems to exact engineering specifications.
  • •Diagnose production floor issues by troubleshooting tightening failures and optimizing tightening programs (Psets).
  • •Analyze tightening curves and graphs to identify torque vs. angle anomalies, cross-threading, and joint relaxation.
  • •Train manufacturing technicians and operators on proper handling and safety of smart tools, and maintain tooling health and calibration records.

Key Requirements

  • •2–5+ years of experience in aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics manufacturing with precision assembly systems.
  • •Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Atlas Copco Power Focus controllers and MicroTorque systems.
  • •Proven ability to set up workstations, route cables, and physically deploy assembly line hardware.
  • •Strong troubleshooting skills to analyze tightening traces and identify failure modes.
  • •Must be authorized to work in the United States and be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities.
